From 20th to 27th of September. We stayed in Bangkok for a few days, walking around and sorting out visas for Laos and Vietnam. We ended up meeting and staying with David, the man who is now the director of the law firm Tom's great granddad started in Bangkok a long long time ago. He invited us to stay in his palace and he took us to ride his pet elephant in Ayuthaya.
